If you are vision impaired, or know someone who is, this piece of equipment will be very useful to you. Acquired through a donation from the Foundation for Sight and Sound, this easy to use CCTV magnifies anything placed under it from 2 to over 65 times its original size. Broadway on Broadway
Some tickets may still be available for the "Music of Broadway" on Tuesday, November 10th at 12:30 in the afternoon. Rose Balbi, a Harborfields employee, is also a talented vocalist and will be performing at the Library, accompanied by pianist Karen Butterick. HEAP for HEAT
Applications for HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program) will be available after November 3rd by calling the Suffolk County Office for the Aging hotline at (631) 854-2368.
This year, supplemental funds will be available for middle income families who don't meet federal income requirements for heating aid this winter through MI-HEAP. Applications must be submitted every year for the annual credit.
